1957
Mar.
Masao Kasai establishes Suzuki Seisakusho in Nakamura-ku,Nagoya,and begins assembly and manufacture of automotive electrical parts.
1959
Jan.
The company is changed from a sole proprietorship to a corporation as Suzuki Works,Ltd.
1963
May
New plant is built in present location, with company moving from Nagoya.
1966
Dec.
Assembly plant is constructed on adjacent land in anticipation of increased operations.
1967
Nov.
Pressing and machining departments are newly established along with the start of in-house manufacturing of components in anticipation of increased orders.
1969
Apr.
Corporate organization is changed, with company operating as Kasai Works Corporation.
1970
Jun.
New electric wiring department is established, manufacture of wire harnesses begins.
1972
Apr.
New machine and tool plant is established, design and manufacturing of tools, molds, and labor-saving machinery begins.
1976
Nov.
Aichi Prefectural government awards company for excellence in streamlining plant operations.
1977
Mar.
Dedicated electrical works plant is constructed in Tarui-cho,Fuwa-gun,Gifu Prefecture;the plant incorporates state-of-the-art equipment in anticipation of expanded wire harness production.
1981
Jul.
Industrial plastics molding plant is established in Tanyo-cho,Ichinomiya-shi,Aichi Prefecture;manufacturing of automotive switch components begins.
1983
Sep.
Awarded for the 1983 plant maintenance excellence company by the Japan Institute of Plant Maintenance.
1984
Jan.
Due to plans for expanding production equipment, a South Plant is built on adjacent land for adedicated assembly plant and production begins at the plant.
1986
Jun.
Due to plans for increasing the scale of assembly operations, a dedicated assembly plant is built in Osanaga,Tarui-cho,Fuwa-gun,Gifu Prefecture, and production begins at the plant.
1989
Jun.
Due to plans for increasing supply of wire harnesses and switch assembly parts, a new production plant is built in Tarui-cho.
1990
Jul.
In anticipation of increase production in the pressing department, a new plant is built in Tozaki,Tanyo-cho,Ichinomiya-shi,Aichi Prefecture and production begins at the plant.The Facility serves both as the exsiting molding plant and as a base for the company's components manufacturing.
1991
Jun.
In order to handle increased production of switchs in new fields and switches for overseas markets, new molding and assembly plants are constructed at the existing Ichinomiya Plant site.
1993
Nov.
The company's new Nagano Plant opens in Komagane-shi,Nagano Prefecture, with the company beginning manufacture and sales of automated assembly equipment and labor-saving machinery, with plans to make the plant a base for automated machine manufacturing.
1996
Aug.
The Headquarters(4th Floor) and Headquarters Plant(3rd Floor) are built with plans for expanded operations.
1997
May
With plans for reinforcing the Pre-Production division, the Production Engineering depaetment is spun off from the Technology department.
2000
Dec.
ISO 9002-1994 certification is acquired.(Headquarters Plant,Ichinomiya Plant)
2001
Nov.
Hirashima Plant is established to enhance production of molded components.
2002
Oct.
Kasugai Plant is established to enhance production of molded components.
2003
Dec.
Joint venture JKC Corporation established in Toronto,Canada.
Feb.
As part of a company reorgamization, the Technical Development division is established.
Jul.
ISO 9001-2000 certification is acquired.(Headquarters Plant,Ichinomiya Plant)
2004
Sep.
Canadian plant name changed to Kasai Canada Inc.
2005
Mar.
Due to favorable conditions for orders of labor-saving equipment,operations are newly moved to the Nagano Plant.
2006
Nov.
Nagano Plant spun off as the independent firm "Kasai Techno Corporation."
2007
Jul.
The Chiaki Plant is built based on plans for increased production.
2008
Nov.
ISO 14001(Environmental Management System)certification is acquired.
2009
Apr.
Corporate structure is drastically streamlined to achieve improved organizational strength.
   Jan.  Divisions and centers are integrated for cantralizing management resources.
 Sep.  Following organizational integration, administrative setup is reformed.
 Aug.  Procurement Department is established to improve purchasing capability.
 Oct.  Kaizen Division is established for further promotion of TPS.
 Dec.  ISO 14001(Environmental Management System) certification is reacquired.
